“All the water in the world cannot drown me if I don't let it inside of me” Eleanor Roosevelt
When people are not encouraging, when you are challenging their comfort zones and they are trying to pull you back into your old paradym, what thought is the Life Raft that cradles you above and does not let the water in?
What is the mantra, the thought that reminds you that you are bigger than the problem?
For Eleanor, it was “All the water in the world cannot drown me if I don't let it inside of me”
For me it is an excerpt from a manifestation I wrote from Marianne Williamson's poem, A Return to Love, “I'm magnificent! Who else would I be? I'm a child of God!”
Whenever I feel those flood waters rise, I grab my raft. I will not play small, “Who else would I be? I'm a manifestation of God!”
What helps you rise above the flood?
Namaste
